HSE policy

The Health and Safety of our employees are of utmost importance to our company.
 
Jit Offshore is committed to the administration of a comprehensive program that promotes the health and safety of each of its employees and the environment. Protecting the well being of employees and the public will always take precedence over the desire for expedience.
 
Safety is a twofold commitment; a partnership wherein both parties share the burden of responsibility and accountability.
 
The success of Jit Offshore's safety program relies not only on management's commitment to provide a safe work environment, but also on the individual commitment of each employee to uphold safe working practices.
 
Good physical health and a serious safety attitude are key contributions which employees must make in order to reduce injuries and promote an environment marked by safety consciousness.
 
Jit Offshore will continue to do its best to create and provide the necessary programs, information, and environment which will promote an injury free workplace.

Drug and Alchol Policy

Jit Offshore is committed to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), we are committed to the protection of our employees and their work environment. Jit Offshore further fully supports the YARD's policy with regard to possession, use and distribution of illegal Drugs and misuse of Alcohol.
 
The abuse of Drugs and Alcohol will impair work performance and is a serious threat to HSE and productivity. Jit Offshore aims to eliminate the risks involved with Drugs and Alcohol Abuse with the following policies :
 
  • Being at work whilst under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Usage of illegal Drugs or Alcohol consumption is not permitted during working hours, on any of Jit Offshore or client's worksite or premises.
  • All potential employees will be tested for Drug use prior to any employment with Jit Offshore.
  • Jit Offshore may conduct unannounced or random searches for Drugs and Alcohol on Jit Offshore's worksites or premises. We may also require employees and any external personnel on Jit Offshore's premises to submit to Drug or Alcohol testing where there is reasonable cause to suspect Drug or Alcohol Abuse.
 
Jit Offshore recognizes that Drug and Alcohol dependence is a treatable condition and we encourage them to seek medical advice and to follow appropriate treatment promptly.
